Virus Update

As the pandemic continues and this terrible virus remains with us we continue to take everyones safety seriously.

We do appreciate that the laws regarding face coverings, distancing etc are no longer applicable within hospitality venues and the wearing of face coverings/masks is now entirely optional, but we would expect customers to use common sense and courtesy whilst in our establishment.

All staff will make their own decisions whether or not to wear face coverings and we respect the fact that customers will make the same choice when entering and moving around inside the building.

All our other procedures will remain in place, including table service for all food and drinks. This will hopefully help to stop the spread of the virus and reduce the risk of closure of the pub due to staff members testing positive (which would seriously impact on the viability of the business).

We do hope you understand and agree this is the most sensible approach to this ongoing difficult situation.

Further information regarding opening times etc. will be via the Pandemic Update page and our Facebook page.

Stay safe everyone, from all at “The Hare”.

Newly refurbished English pub in the heart of West Norfolk.

Serving a diverse and tasty fresh menu of locally sourced seasonal dishes and a selection of cask ales.

Situated just off the A10 between King’s Lynn and Downham Market in the village of Stow Bardolph; The Hare Arms is an ideal place for a social gathering, a hearty meal, a business meeting or just a quiet drink.

Having recently undergone a thorough re-decoration and refit; the large and comfortable interior, with its long, traditional bar, three log fires, quirky decor extensive, restaurant style dining and new ‘Front Room’ extension, ooze a homely and relaxed vibe, with a warm atmosphere to suit.

The spacious gardens, with resident peacocks are also a delight in the summer months, with further work planned to the exterior for 2018.

We look forward to welcoming you to
The Hare Arms…
