Welcome to The Hare Arms, a traditional English pub and one of the most popular in West Norfolk serving home cooked, tasty food and a good selection of cask ales
Situated just off the A10 between King’s Lynn and Downham Market in the village of Stow Bardolph; The Hare Arms is an ideal place for a social gathering, a hearty meal, a business meeting or just a quiet drink. Comprising of a large and comfortable bar area, two dedicated dining areas (The Tortoise Room and The Old Coach House), a delightful conservatory and spacious gardens, with resident peacocks, the Hare Arms at Stow Bardolph is bigger than it appears.
Pat and Debs Palmer took over the Hare Arms lease in July 2016. The couple have a long association with the country pub having met while working behind its bar in 1987, under the previous tenants Trish and David McManus.
Pat and Debs are excited to continue the Hare’s long tradition of good food, speedy, courteous service and comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Young or old, town or country, local or just passing through, you are guaranteed a warm welcome at the Hare.
Introducing a new menu featuring dishes from Pat & Debs’ acclaimed local restaurant Palmers alongside well-loved classics from the Hare Arms.
As always, tables can’t be booked in the bar, but booking a table in the Restaurant or The Coach House means you can enjoy waitress service and the same menu as in the bar, and a more relaxed experience!
