The Tortoise Room IMG_5958 Featuring a new menu with dishes created by our chefs as well as some of the most popular ones from both previous bar and a la carte menus. As always, tables can’t be booked in bar, but booking a table in the new dining area or The Coach House means you can enjoy waitress service and the same menu as in the bar, and a more relaxed experience!

Goddards “Scrumdiggity” 4.00% A harvest bronze Golden Ale, breed with Challenger, East Kent Goldings and Fuggles Hops to give a fruity citrus bite of hoppiness with a palate of citrus notes and vanilla, leading to a long dry finish.

The Reverend James is brewed to a traditional recipe and has been described as having a flavour not commonly available these days.

WINE OF THE MONTH

SALENTIN, Reserve Malbec – Mendoza, Argentina, 14%

  This red wine has notes of ripe blackberry, blueberry and redcurrant, with subtle hints of violet. The silky palate offers a crisp balance backed by vanilla on the lingering finish.
