We will also offer a more limited menu to allow our Chefs to observe correct distancing in the kitchen.

We have taken considerable steps to ensure the safety of all our staff and customers which

Include:

A full risk assessment and pre-opening deep clean.

Hand sanitiser available at key points throughout the premises for customers and staff.

Extra staff training regarding cleaning, sanitising and hand washing.

Separate entrance and exit doors, and more space between tables to comply with 1 metre plus guidelines.

Outside tables spaced at 2 metre distance.

Single use menus, or customers can view menus via mobile devices.

Extra staff training to ensure we can operate in as safe an environment as possible.

A “one in one out” system for the toilets.

Table service only for food, drinks and payment.

No drinking at or collecting drinks from the bar.

The largest sized group we are allowed inside or outside by Government is 6.
THIS WILL BECOME LAW AS FROM MONDAY THE 14TH OF SEPTEMBER.
Customers are also politely to be made aware that social interaction with anyone outside of the group they are with is to be avoided, even if they see other people they know.* PUNISHABLE BY A FINE OF UP TO £10’000.*
As from Friday 18th September the Government “Test and Trace” scheme also
becomes mandatory and failure to provide details will result in refusal of service.

We do feel it is important to remember pubs and restaurants are for socialising and having fun, they are not shops, banks or pharmacies. We will have to operate at a limited capacity, and there is no denying the experience will be different, but we still want it to be enjoyable.

We won’t be erecting plastic screens, making people pay and order with phone apps, taking peoples temperature on arrival or have security personnel monitoring physical distancing.

We are trusting that our customers will respect each other, ourselves and our staff.

That they will observe physical distancing from others without constant reminders.

That they will stay away if they or others in their household are feeling ill with symptoms of the virus.

We hope to use our outside space as much as possible, but as we all know that can be dependent on the weather…

Please remember this will be a new experience for all of us, it will be a steep learning curve, and we may not get everything right, but we will be doing our best. If you have any concerns or can see a way we can improve something, please speak to us personally.

Above all be kind and stay safe.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

We will make any announcements here and on our Facebook page.

Please be advised we may not be able to answer every telephone inquiry, e-mail or social media comment/question as only Deb and myself are available at the moment instead of our usual team of people.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, take care.
Pat & Deb
