With the predicted rise in infections, and the fact that the R number is rising in Norfolk we have made the decision to continue with our COVID safety procedures for the foreseeable future.

We do appreciate that the laws regarding face coverings, distancing etc will be officially relaxed as from Monday 19th July and these will no longer to be a legal requirement, however in reality all that has happened is that the responsability of the health and safety of employees and customers has been removed from the government and placed on publicans and small business owners instead.

All staff will continue to wear face coverings and we request that customers continue to do so too when entering and moving around inside the building.

All our other procedures will remain in place, including table service only for all food and drinks. This will hopefully help to stop the spread of the virus and reduce the risk of closure of the pub due to staff members testing positive (which would seriously impact on the viability of the business).

We do hope you understand and agree this is the most sensible approach to this ongoing difficult situation.

Stay safe everyone from all at “The Hare”.

OUR INSIDE SEATING AREAS ARE NOW OPEN.

Whilst our policy of no reservations during the time we have been allowed to open the gardens has worked really well, we have decided to take reservations for some inside seating and to leave some free for walk-in customers.

The garden areas will remain first come first served.
