This is the Saltari interpretation of one of the kings of Italian wines. Deep garnet purple, with crimson hues. Full punchy, rich, ripe aromas of plums and black cherry with notes of peppers and spice are supported by generous tannins. Full-structured and round, with exceptional weight.

BARON de LEY, 2006 Reserva Rioja, Spain 13.5%
Openly expressive, soft strawberry fruits represent the Baron de Ley style perfectly in this recently released vintage. Selected cool harvested grapes are traditionally vinified and then aged for 20 months in American oak barrels, followed by a further 24 months in bottle to “round out” the wine. Superb with steaks or lamb.
